Review--Little Bangkok Restaurant

This past weekend, I took the opportunity to go to the Little Bangkok restaurant which just opened up in the old Cafe Europa location (and the other end of Mellow Mushroom). From what I saw and ate, I think that the new management has a hit on it's hands! I'm not going to review dishes here, because to do so may bias your opinion. However, try anything on the menu and if it's not good, well, I'm sorry for you and your taste buds. Everything I had was full of flavor and simply delicious!

Price range for entrees is between 6 and 12 and each one does feed 2 average people (or 1 hungry guy). I honestly cannot remember the exact name of the dish (garlic chicken or something close to that) I had (or my friends for that matter), but they all really did taste good.

Like I said, try it for yourself. If for no other reason than to experience it! I enjoyed my dining experience and the food was good!

My family ate at Little Bangkok and we really enjoyed it. We had the jasmine rice and a thai dish (can't remember the name) that was served with half a head of lettuce. It was some kind of wrap. It was yummy. The owner also owns the Asian Garden Chinese Restaurant in Lenoir City. They are really nice people.

Excellent and authentic Thai food here. i have been to Thailand many times and eaten in many Thai restaurants in America, and this ranks near the top for authenticity and yummy food. Great service as well. I have eaten there 6 times so far, one more tonight.

I have tried Little Bangkok twice and I am Thai. Most of the food seem pretty good. Tom Kah Gai (soup) is wonderful. Hot and spicy salad like Yum Gai, Pra Gung, Yum Neau are o.k. I am not much impressed. My suggestion is trying noodle and curry like Lad Nar noodle or Paneang curry. Aroy Dee ka!!!

This place does not have thai food, not even close, but then who in knoxville would even know thai food from chinese food, people here even think that japanese people cook like benihana with fried chicken and steak - geez - they don't even use thai chilli at Little bangkok, the cooks and owners are chinese cooks, they cook chinese food, copy some thai dishes and charge you a little more, a real thai chef knows how to balance the spicy, sweet, sour, salty taste, this is knoxville chinese food at best, still, there aren't many choices in this area so it is worth a shot, just don't expect really hot thai food here
