It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...

...but not for traffic! And apparently too many West Knox/Farragut drivers feel like they own the ENTIRE ROAD! When I'm getting passed on either side (of a 4 lane highway, meaning someone is taking their life in their hands), people staying straight on a right turn only lane, folks honking me for slowing down and not crossing a red-light, etc., etc., etc. Well, I guess it's time to blog about it, yet again. Can it be possible in the "Bible Belt" that the phrase "Golden Rule" means that "He who has the gold makes the rules"??? This is supposed to be the Christmas season, but apparently Christ and His birth have given way to Santa Claus and the millions of X-Box 360's and other gifts that will be under the tree this year. Oh well.

The Mayor needs to get serious about this problem. How long will Eddy Ford ignore this?

Apparently never, if you've read his comment in the Farragut Press, the town of Farragut is NOT in the Policing business. It isn't in the garbage business, or school business, or utility business, either. Apparently the only business it is in is taking tax revenues to build more roads and sidewalks for developers to profit from.

I agree that holiday traffic is the pits! See my post entitled "Be One".
